  Sabbath Grace Fellowship Celebrates 7th Anniversary
Sabbath Grace Fellowship church in Apopka celebrated its seventh anniversary on Saturday, July 23 at 11:30 AM.
Sabbath Grace Fellowship was created in the summer of 2004 by a passionate group of people who after much prayer and spiritual reflection were convicted that God wanted us to create a safe place to grow, especially for folks in the Orlando area who had been wounded by previous religious experiences. Our motto is: ‘Where Strength Grows from Brokenness as we seek to love and serve like Jesus.’ So loving and serving our Apopka community is the natural focus of our passion.
Sabbath Grace Fellowship is a nondenominational Christian community that really values one’s spiritual journey. We're here not to judge but to encourage and support. Like heaven, we're a delightful mix of ethnic and religious backgrounds. We have no agenda except to experience the life, love and grace of Jesus while being immersed in a loving, safe community.
At Sabbath Grace Fellowship our theme for this year is ‘2011 YES.’ The ‘YES’ is an acronym for ‘Year of Exceptional Service.’ If there’s any way we can serve, we will. Our working motto is ‘Service without Boundaries.’
At the July 23 anniversary celebration the church’s historic seven year journey was recalled with multimedia and recognition of charter members along with those who have made significant spiritual decisions because of the church’s ministry. Orange County Commissioner, Fred Brummer, brought an official greeting and proclamation from the Orange County and Apopka city offices. Sabbath Grace Fellowship's original theme song, "We've Only Just Begun," was part of the memories of the day AND continues to be the positive attitude of leaders and members of SGF. Yes, we've only just begun to see what God has in store for our ministry.
